 Rotary Club of Meinerzhagen - Our Twin 
We first made contact with The Rotary Club of Meinerzhagen in 1999, and a few members met up in Calais. We then officially twinned with The Rotary Club of Meinerzhagen in April 2000, when 16 members of their club with their partners visited , and we held an 'official' twinning ceremony at Portal Golf & Country Club. Since then we have met annually. |
Meinerzhagen is situated about 50 miles East of Dusseldorf in Germany. Their Club has approximately 50 members and serves a population of over 30,000 in the towns of Meinerzhagen, Halver and Kierspe. They were Chartered on April 2nd 1965. We visit each other every 2 years. In the intervening years we both travel to meet somwhere half way between our bases. |
